Behind the scenes

Cinematrographer André Schreuders and director Joke Olthaar spent more than 40 days at high altitude in the Triglav Area in Slovenia. A 16mm camera, a digital camera, several lenses and tripod in their backpacks. Next to cloths, a sleeping bag and food and drinks. They climbed and hiked in various weather conditions. Stayed in tiny shelters and in mountain huts.  And they took the time to let the mountain speak to them. After a long time of slow and heavy footsteps, the contact with the landscape becomes very intense and the perception changes.
